Hey out there, and for anyone new to my site, welcome to Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet.

My name’s Carol, and I’m here to help inform as many people I can about great incredibly healthy vegetarian weight loss diets.

Click here if you want to see how I was able to lose a ton of weight, get healthy, and feel better than I had in years through a great Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet Plan.

I wasn’t always, slim, fit, and healthy though, as you can imagine. I used to be quite overweight, and incredibly unhealthy. I was lethargic almost all day, every day, mostly due to my horrible diet. I also had a horrible body image, low self-esteem, and was on the road to depression.

When I moved out of my parents’ house at the age of 18, I had to learn how to cook on my own. Well you see, I was too lazy to do that, and started to eat lots and lots of fast food… and I gained lots and lots of weight very quickly. I had to buy new clothes to fit my bigger body, and my energy levels plummeted… I felt horrible overall.

I soon had enough… why was I doing this to my body?! I started to educate myself about diet and nutrition… it was a long journey. When the Atkins diet craze came out a couple years ago I gave that a shot… but guess what… it’s a HORRIBLE diet if you want to lose weight AND stay healthy. The Atkins diet uses a lot of high fat, artery clogging foods.

What I learned through educating myself was the power of vegetarianism… how putting the stuff grown naturally on this earth of ours is the best thing possible for you. No processed foods… no artificial chemicals… those are poisons for your body! And with all the hormones they put in animals these days you might as well be eating the hormones yourself… ugh… the meat industry is one digusting industry… and seeing videos of how those poor animals are treated makes me sick.

I realized vegetarianism was the way to go. What is grown naturally on this earth is what you’re SUPPOSED to be putting in your body… it’s what humans evolved on! Eating healthy (and exercising) can cure and prevent so many of the problems that plague humankind today… diabetes… cancer… arthritis… heat disease… and so on. The nourishment in fruits, vegetables, beans etc… they can do wonders for you!

Anyway… so I started to look for healthy vegetarian diets to start to get my life back. I tried a few… they were pretty blegh… pretty bland food I must say. I tried making up my own recipes, and that didn’t work much better, hehe. Also, I didn’t know how to get enough of what my body needed… how much protein do I need? What vegetarian foods are the best for this? What are some INTERESTING and TASTY recipes?

Well I soon found this incredible website which was the answer to all my problems. It was a vegetarian weight loss diet site with some fantastic info on it. It was a GREAT vegetarian diet plan that told me exactly what I needed to know… what vegetarian foods were the best for what… how much I needed to eat… great recipes… and so on.

I started preparing tasty meals I found on the site right away. To my surprise, they were actually easy to make, cheap, and tasted great. Only a week or two later I started to feel great… my energy levels were WAY up… I woke up in the morning and WANTED to get out of bed… and was peppy for most of the day.

The bonus… I lost weight of course, hehe… 50 lbs to be exact… and I’m now at my ideal body weight. I now feel sick thinking about what I used to eat… greasy fast food… lots of meat… hardly any fruits or veggies… I was killing myself, and was on a fast track to getting diabetes, heart disease, cancer… and who KNOWS what else.

So that’s my story folks… and there’s a little more info below for anyone who’s interested.

If you’re in the same situation I was, please do something to change your life… we have enough disease in this country as it is… so get healthy!

Hey Gang! Carol here again with more great Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet info.

Today I want to talk about the Atkins diet. It was the big crazy a couple years ago, and it’s still going pretty strong actually.

Well I actually tried the Atkins diet at one point… and I gotta say there are much better options out there for you.

Many people looking for a quick weight loss diet tried Atkins at some point. Well let me explain the basic premise of the Atkins diet… eat a lot of protein, and cut a lot of calories out by avoiding most carbohydrates. Actually not a bad idea, and a decently sound principle. You see your body uses carbohydrates (mostly) for energy. I could go on a whole rant right now about complex carbohydrates (good) and simple carbohydrates (bad)… but I’ll hold off on that for now, hehe. So you see if you’re on the Atkins diet and avoiding most carbohydrates, where’s your body going to go next for energy? That’s right… your fat, and sometimes your muscle… and that’s how you lose weight on the Atkins diet.

Now let me explain a major problem with that. It is NOT healthy to be eating so much protein. What’s the first food that comes to your mind when you think about protein? That’s right… meat. Other good sources are eggs, dairy, nuts etc. As you can see, generally foods with decently high fat contents which help to clog your arteries… boo Atkins. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with meat, eggs, dairy, nuts, etc IN MODERATION… but basing your entire diet around these foods is not good. Bleh… I wanted a healthy weight loss diet… not artery clogging foods… something I would find out about vegetarian diets soon enough.

I also don’t like Atkins because it goes against what you should really be feeding your body. Every meal you eat should be composed of a certain amount of protein, carbohydrates (ideally complex carbohydrates), and fat. Yes fat… your body actually does need some fat. Well with Atkins you lack severely in the carbohydrate department, which I don’t like.

Like I said I actually tried the Atkins diet… and guess what… I actually lost some weight… but I started to feel really gross with the extremely high protein diet I was on. I couldn’t take it… and the more I learned about vegetarianism and how healthy it was, the more I wanted to stay away from these Atkins foods.

Ok guys and gals… I’m off for now. But come back to Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet soon for more healthy info on food and where you can find some great healthy vegetarian diet plans. See you!

Hey again everyone out there… time for vegetarian weight loss diet post number two.

So like I said, I started to educate myself about healthy eating… I did a lot of research and learned all I could about health and nutrition… and you know it’s all really a fairly simple concept. What have humans evolved on in the past several thousands of years? What are our bodies DESIGNED to eat? We’re designed to eat natural, unprocessed foods… yes including animals, hehe. While eating animal meat and fat isn’t overly bad if you don’t eat it too often… the conditions in which animals are brought up today are HORRENDOUS… and they’re injecting them with all sorts of growth hormones… and ugh… it’s just not something I want to be putting in my body anymore.

So yes, back to the point. How do you maintain your body the way it’s supposed to be maintained? How do you keep in good health… prevent cancers… arthritis… heart disease? You eat what you’re meant to eat… healthy NATURAL foods… that means stuff that comes directly out of the ground. Think you don’t have too vegetarian diet plan options… well you’re wrong. Vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, grains… etc… you have so many options to eat healthy and give your body what it needs. Think you won’t get enough protein on a vegetarian diet? Wrong again… beans and nuts in particular are great protein rich foods, and there are some great vegetarian weight loss meal plans out there which provide your body with everything it needs.

Phew… well I’m all typed out for today… I hope you enjoyed my rant. Stay tuned for more vegetarian weight loss diet info, and learn about where you can find some great weight loss diet plans and diet recipes! Also get ready for my secret on where you can find the BEST vegetarian weight loss diet.

Hello World, and welcome to Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet!

My name’s Carol, and I started Vegetarian Weight Loss Diet to try to help to inform others about this incredible diet alternative.

First, let me give a little background on myself and how I got into this vegetarian diet plan thing. After moving out of my parents house at 20 years old, my eating habits started to go way downhill… I didn’t have good old mom to cook all my meals for me anymore, and I started eating takeout almost everyday.

Well guess what… my metabolism started catching up with me, and I became quite overweight a couple years down the road. Not only was I overweight, but I felt lethargic all the time, and I didn’t look very healthy. It sucks not only being overweight, but having little energy to move your fat body around too!

So I eventually had enough and wondered what I was doing to myself… I needed some sort of healthy weight loss diet. Before I really got into the whole weight loss diet plan thing though, I really started to educate myself on nutrition… and that’s what I want to talk about in this post.

Nutrition is so incredibly important, and so many of us in North America just don’t pay any attention to what we’re putting into our bodies. We want something fast, easy, and that tastes good… that’s all we tend to think about. Well that usually leads one to fast food and a lot of red meat… nope… I’m on a total vegetarian weight loss meal plan and feeling great!

Anyway, so even if you’re not eating tons of fast food or red meat, you’re still in danger. Most of the companies that supply us with food on this continent don’t care about our health… they care about making money. So they put all sorts of crap and chemicals in our food to make it last longer, and to make it taste better. Your grocery store is a danger zone if you’re buying processed foods… salty snacks… and well almost anything else that’s in there.

The more I learned about what I was putting in my body on a daily basis, the scarier things got. I’m done writing for today though, so stay tuned to read about how I started to educate myself on healthy natural eating and vegetarian weight loss plans.
